    Who We Want:


    SMG is looking for a GM/VP of Employee Engagement who has relationships with senior-level contacts in the retail, restaurant or grocery industries - specifically into the HR department, and has history of personally acquiring new clients, developing and executing against a territory plan, and managing multiple deals from initial research to closed/won.


    What you can expect in this role:


    • Demonstrate awareness and understanding of buyer habits and market trends while concurrently assessing marketplace developments of competitors
    • Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations for the team
    • Lead the negotiation of favorable commercial terms with clients
    • Work with the departments in the business to agree respective responsibilities for the success of the business


    What you’ll need to succeed:


    • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in the area of customer and or/employee engagement and loyalty
    • Bachelor’s degree required (a background in I/O Psychology and/or organizational development” is a plus)
    • Ability to nurture and develop new and existing client relationships
    • A proven track record in sales
    • Experience building relationships at the senior executive level
    • Know relevant stats inside and out and have a curious mindset to learn, grow, and be an expert on SMG’s solutions
