SMG is looking for a marketing director, branded programs to join our growing B2B marketing organization. This new position will report to the CMO and lead SMG marketing initiatives in the areas of public relations, earned media, content placement, SMG events, brand message strategy, and creative content development. The position will be based in SMG’s Kansas City headquarters and manage programs for North America and EMEA.
Success means leading the establishment and measurement of specific metrics for advancing SMG’s reputation in the market, while also introducing SMG to buyers in new categories. All initiatives will be evaluated relative to growth and retention goals.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record for managing branded programs, public relations, content placement, social media and events for a B2B technology-related company – including managing plans/campaigns from concept to ROI analysis.
