    Who we want:


    As the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, this position will oversee the budgeting, forecasting and planning function for the Company. In addition, this position will perform key analyses related to profitability, capital deployment, operational cost trends, and functional investments.




    • Lead the preparation of annual operating budgets, working closely with functional leaders to ensure budgets are reflective of “best thinking” evaluation and assessment
    • Develop quarterly projections based on past results, current trends and market factors
    • Develop financial models to support analysis of financial and operating activities across organization
    • Develop real time financial and operational reports for company management and board of directors, including identifying and analyzing key financial metrics (KPI’s)
    • Coordinate monthly operational review meetings with functional leaders
    • Identify opportunities for savings and operational efficiency gains through the analysis of variance against budget, prior year and industry metrics.
    • Provide forward-looking and business case analysis to assist functional leaders in evaluating strategic investment / resource decisions.
    • Assist with analysis of capital investment activities and monitoring spending in relation to budget
    • Work with Corporate Controller to analyze operational work flow and create contribution margin statements by customer and market segments.
    • Assist with monitoring of loan covenants and compliance
    • Organize presentation of financial information to external business partners (private equity group, banks, consultants, auditors, etc.)
    • Assist with evaluation of a corporate information system to allow for the “real time” disseminate of information across the organization.
    • Assist in developing long range financial plans
    • Potential to supervise a team of financial analysts in the future.


    What you will need to succeed:

    •  Minimum of bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business
    • CPA, CFA or MBA required
    • 5+ years’ experience in financial analysis/financial management.
    • Familiarity and aptitude in working with financial and accounting software
    • Excellent skills and experience with Excel modeling concepts
    • Strong organization and communication skills
