SMG is looking to add a top-notch designer/coder to our Marketing team. This role works collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to shape the visual perception of SMG in the B2B marketplace by executing a range of cross-platform work—including HTML emails, landing pages, websites, banner ads, infographics, photography, presentations, and more. The successful Digital Designer will be on a constant quest to understand lead generation best practices and how those should influence design.

What you can expect in this role:

Design, build, and test email campaigns across browsers for clients and prospects, build and manage a library of digital assets, collaborate with executives on high-impact presentations, take complicated concepts and translate into accessible design, ensure brand standards are followed and properly executed across the company, package design files for production.




What you’ll need to succeed:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a digital design role
  • Bachelor’s degree in a design-focused field
  • Proven and extensive experience designing + coding HTML/CSS communications (Marketo work is a bonus)
  • Expert-level use of the Adobe Creative Suite—including photo editing, image manipulation, packaging of production-ready files, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Experience with content management systems/websites
  • Understanding of both digital and print design needs and best practices
  • Demonstrated expertise in taking a complicated concept and translating into accessible design
  • Strong multi-tasking and creative problem-solving skills
