Overview

SMG is seeking an outgoing and creative Executive Assistant to support multiple VP Sales Executives. If you are a dynamic and independent individual looking for a unique, multi-faceted career opportunity in a fun industry with a growing business, we want you to join our team!

Responsibilities

As an Executive Assistant, you must possess exceptional time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills as well as superb communication and people skills. Our ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience as an executive assistant supporting one or more senior-level executives, is a detail-oriented team player who can hit the ground running, knows when to tap relevant resources for needed information, has excellent problem-solving skills, and can build strong relationships across the organization.

  • Proactively managing calendars
  • Scheduling meetings and coordinating travel arrangements, both domestic and international
  • Assisting with coordinating special events that occur throughout the year on both a casual and formal basis
  • Analyzing incoming email and phone calls to determine their significance and treatment
  • Completing timecards and expense reports
  • Preparing e-mails, letters, and other business correspondence
  • Entering client information into CRM system
  • Greeting and hosting visitors
  • Performing general office duties
  • Supporting special projects and other office duties
  • Working as a team with other Executive Assistants

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite; specifically Excel and PowerPointStrong communication skills
  • Excellent proofreading and editing skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter attitude
  • Thrives in a fast paced environment
  • Experience with CRM and SharePoint a plus

Preferred: 

  • Experience working as an Administrative Assistant on a Sales Team.
