Who we want:
SMG is looking to add a dynamic and organized Product Marketing Specialist to our growing Marketing team. This role will help drive awareness and adoption of SMG’s products and technologies (think stuff like video surveys, mobile reporting apps, + more). This role reports to the Sr. Manager of Product Marketing and will manage the development of our product campaigns. You’ll be steering the vision that inspires internal teams, current clients, and prospects to learn more about the technologies and products SMG works hard to build.
If you have mad marketing skills, are fluent in technology speak, and know how to get things done on time and under budget—this is the role for you.
What you’ll do:
Product marketing: support positioning, education, and promotion of SMG’s products and technologies; support product launches and campaigns; track and report metrics, evaluate campaign success
Project management: build project timelines; manage projects, campaigns, published content, collateral, product pricing + packaging; update technical specifications as needed
Competitive analysis: identify SMG and competitor positioning, stay aware of industry trends and opportunities, manage SMG’s competitor committee output, monitor and report on competitive products and messages
Analyst relations: support development and execution of industry analyst strategies, coordinate submissions for in-depth analyst publications, support development of presentations and demos, manage Analyst Relations initiatives (i.e. briefings, inquiries, events, etc.)
Team building: establish strong partnerships with product development team, support internal training for sales and management teams
